- Apart from a performing career, Revati has also put in her creative talent by organizing classical music concerts of children (aged five to fifteen);the basic aim of which is to promote love and interest for music. Rang Umaltya Manache ( June 2007) and Gunjan (November 2007) have been appreciated not only by the lay listener but also by eminent musicians like Pt.Vijay Bakshi, Dr.Veena Sahsrabuddhe, Pt.Suhas Vyas, Dr.Arawind Thatte and Smt.Kalpana Zokarkar.
- She has also conceived of "Tapasyaa" - an annual event on the occasion of International Woman's Day. The concept of Tapasyaa is to felicitate those women who have been instrumental in supporting the career of their husband, daughter or son as a musician. It is often noted that musicians are given recognition somewhere and sometime in their lives, but one hardly finds any recognition given to the person behind this success. Through Baithak Music Foundation, her husband, Bharat Kamat's venture, Smt, Indira Chintamani Vyas (wife of Pt.C.R.Vyas) and Smt. Asha Kamat ( wife of late Pt.Chandrakant Kamat) were felicitated in the first year(2009). Smt. Thatte (mother of Dr.Arawind Thatte) was felicitated in 2010.
- She has also conceived of "RANGOTSAV- surancha" , a complete programme on the festival of holi. Along with traditional compositions in Raag Basant, Rag Des and a hori, For this event, Revati had composed several bandishes based on the tales of holi in raag Yaman, Bairagi, Mishra Kafi, Bhatiyar and a beautiful meera bhajan. The entire event was unfolded by an aesthetic blending of vocal music( individual and chorus), instrumental (jugalbandi of harmonium and flute), and kathak. It was organised at the Savai Gandhrava Smarak auditorium, Pune.
- Raag Ramayan (2016)was also another program based on some events of Ramayana and was presented by students as well.
- Aarambh... the beginning of a musical journey', is a very comprehensive project comprising of a book and cd meant especially for introducing and developing taste for classical music among children. The story that begins from the basics of sound to the swar and laya in Indian music is engaging for children since it attempts to elucidate musical concepts through their association with quotidian, familiar concepts. The story, and the compositions are by Dr.Revati herself. The cd includes 50 alankaars- that is the basic swar exercises as well as 13 compositions which include only sargam geets, taranas, trivats and a tabla geet. As none of the compositions have any words, the listener and the student can enjoy the freedom of self expression while rendering them. Even though the project is basically meant for children from seven and above, anyone who wishes to get introduced to Indian classical music can find it helpful. Besides, the compositions can be improvised also by professional musicians and dancers. Aarambh has received wide recognition not only by the students of vocal music but also by students of instrumental music and dance.
- Encouraged by Dr. Ashwini Bhide, Revati has also taken to composing. Her compositions in classical music include bandishes, taranas, chaturang, taalmaala and Tabla geet. She has composed many 'abhangas' of saints Tukaram, Bahinabai, Muktabai, Swami Ramdas, Gyaneshwar and Gondawalekar Maharaj.
- Her debut album as a composer , ‘Santbaani’, was released by the popular classical vocalist Smt.Shubha Mudgal in the year 2014. Santbaani is a collection of bhajans by Kabir, Meerabai, Soordas, Khusro, Ravidas, Sahjobai and Hanumanprasad Poddar. Both, Pt. Raghunandan Panshikar and Revati have sung these compositions. The beautiful and melodoius blending of the tunes based on raag music and the contemporary music arrangement gives listener a soothing experience.
- Revati also takes a deep interest in teaching. She has several students who are learning Hindustani music under her guidance.Very often she also organizes workshops and audio-visual sessions for their benefit. She had recently conducted workshops at Kalkmeri Sangeet Vidyalay, Dharwad and at various schools in Pune under SPIC MACAY.
